On 13th November, the young chefs at Stanford School rolled up their sleeves and put on their aprons for a fun-filled Sandwich Making Activity! The event was organized to encourage healthy eating habits, boost fine motor skills, and let children experience the joy of hands-on learning.
The little ones were thrilled as they got to prepare their own delicious sandwiches using simple, fresh ingredients like bread, butter, cheese slices, cucumber, tomatoes, and ketchup. With a dash of creativity and a sprinkle of excitement, each child crafted their own unique sandwich — some even gave them fun names!
🧑🍳 Activity Highlights:
-
Introduction to healthy ingredients and hygiene practices
-
Step-by-step guidance by teachers on how to make a sandwich
-
Creative sandwich plating with smiley faces, shapes, and colors
-
Group tasting session where kids enjoyed and shared their creations
-
Basic table manners and clean-up responsibility were also taught
The activity was more than just fun — it helped build confidence, independence, and awareness about healthy food choices. It was also a great opportunity for children to bond with their peers and feel proud of something they made all by themselves.
Our Sandwich Making Day was a delightful blend of learning, laughter, and little bites of happiness!
